of summer camp (and are potty trained).

Read about CampWA registration here.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes a non-refundable deposit of $150 is required per child
one week before camp.
Where do I go on the first day of Camp
(drop-off and pick-up)?
MORNING DROP-OFF
Camp begins
at 9:30am and morning care begins at 8:00am. Please
have your child at camp no later then 9:30 am. because of field trip departures.
We are
going to use the same drop off and pick up procedure that
we use at school. It’s proven to be efficient for the
parents and safe for the children. Directions: From
Federal Hwy. (US 1) go east on NE 56th Street. This street
runs between Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and Westminster
Academy®. Drive past the school and make your first right
on NE 22nd Avenue. This street borders the school on the
west side. Take a right hand turn behind the school. Stay
in the right hand lane and keep going until you are under
the blue awning. After you drop off your child you may proceed
straight to 56th Street and take make a left or right hand
turn. ALL campers will exit their cars from the west
side onto the side walk. Please do not let anyone exit the
car from the east side into the other lane of traffic. Your
child will be greeted by a staff member and escorted to the
adjoining picnic tables. When their fellow campers arrive
they will go with their counselors to their Cabin to begin
their first day of a camp. AFTERNOON PICK-UP:
Afternoon pick-up starts at 3:00.
We provide aftercare from 3:30 - 5:30 and the pickup will
be in the elementary library.
Is there after care?
After care is included in the camp tution. After care
begins at 3:30 and runs until 5:30 if needed. There is a
$1.00 a minute charge after 5:30.
What should my child wear to camp?
Campers should wear shorts, t-shirts (appropriate logos
please), sneakers and socks to camp. Flip-flops or sandals
are not allowed. Keep it simple. This is camp. They will
get dirty. Each camper will receive a Camp t-shirt that must
be worn on field trip days. Additional shirts may be purchased
for $10.00 each. Please put your child’s name on everything,
especially towels, socks and goggles. If marked items are
lost we can identify them and return them to you. By the
end of the summer the camp office will be the proud owner
of lots of socks, towels and t-shirts that are not labeled.
Does my child need Sunscreen?
Please put sunscreen on your child before he/she arrives
at camp. We will reapply sunscreen as needed throughout the
day.
What should my child bring to camp?
A camper should pack a LIGHT bag each
morning. Campers should bring a packed
lunch as well as extra snacks if needed. Campers need
only to bring a bathing suit and a bath sized towel
everyday! Swim goggles are an accepted addition for kids
with chlorine sensitive eyes and some children will want
a sweatshirt if they get cold in the cabins or at the Wednesday
movie.
Money, toys, books, hand-held games, water jugs, sporting
equipment, stuffed animals, CD players, any kind of trading
cards and such are best left at home. We will provide all
necessary equipment and supplies and shall not be held responsible
for lost items.
What will my child eat and drink at camp?
Each child is required to pack his or her
own lunch as well as extra snacks if needed. We will provide
a midmorning snack as well as a snack in aftercare but will
NOT provide lunch service for the campers.
What should I do if my child is sick?
Please keep your child at home for 24 hours after a temperature
goes down or if they complain of a stomachache, earache or
headache. From experience we have found you will soon be
back to pick them up. It is better to be over cautious than
to risk exposing the rest of the staff and the children to
contagious sickness.
We are equipped to deal with minor
cuts, scratches, abrasions, etc. EMS is located near by and
will be called immediately in the event of a more serious
injury.
How much does camp cost?
Session I is $600 and Session II is $300. There are no
hidden fees. Your child may bring extra money for field trips
and for the snack machine at the school.
Will there be swimming? And if so, what
group will my child be in?
All groups will be swimming 5 days a week.
Each child will be evaluated on his or her swimming abilities
and certain limitations to the big pool will be assessed
on an individual basis. Goggles will not be provided and
each camper should write in permanent ink their name on their
goggles.

you need to call for an emergency, the emergency number is
